About Us

Spoiled Bacon Marketing's ultimate goal is to provide affordable social marketing. The prices are lower because we are owned and operated by a current college student. For Brent the primary goal is to gain experience in the field, not to make money. Current prices cover the cost of producing the results for the customer and maintaining the website. Only about 15% of the revenue is profit. Our competitors charge three to four times the prices as us.

Spoiled Bacon Marketing was started from a Direct & Internet Marketing class in which the focus of the class was to take a local business in that had little to no social media presence and enhance it. Brent Levi’s (Spoiled Bacon Marketing’s owner) group was assigned with Candle Chef. Serving as group leader Brent was a key factor in the group success, increasing Candle Chef’s Facebook likes by 50x. The group also created successful Pinterest and Tumblr accounts as well as laid the foundation for a Facebook store. Due to the results Brent and his group were able to produce with Candle Chef they received first place in the class of ten teams. The group was rated first and second on results, and second and third on presentation.

We specialize in social marketing for small businesses. This is done through outlets such as Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, and email newsletters. These are chosen based on your preferences, goals, and industry norms.

About The Owner

Brent Levi

I am currently an Integrated Marketing Communications major at Roosevelt University, recently making the transfer from the University of Mount Union. As you can tell from the About Us page I started Spoiled Bacon from my Internet marketing class. Being the only freshman (sophomore credit wise) in the class I was quite nervous to take on the leadership role, but I am glad I did. I learned that I love social marketing, hence why I started Spoiled Bacon Marketing.

Outside of the school side of my life my passion is soccer. I have been playing since I was three years old and was fortunate enough to continue playing last year at Mount Union. I am hoping to be able to play at Roosevelt, but if this is not possible I will look for recreation adult leagues in the area. I also enjoy almost any other sport and was a swimmer in high school.

After I obtain my degree from Roosevelt I plan to pursue my masters in sport administration or marketing. My career goal is to become a marketing executive at a soccer organization.

Ground Zero

The Ground Zero plan is truly starting from nothing. This is for a company with no true social media presence what so ever. Our goal in the three months that this plan takes place is to create a solid base to build upon. This is what a majority of our projects are.Included in this plan are seven different services, which are explained below.

Social Marketing Plan: The plan is the most important part of the whole process, it guides what will be happening. It is doubtful that it will stay the same throughout the entire project, but it serves as a guideline.

Design: This is the layout of every social media site that is going to be used. This is a crucial aspect of drawing people in.

Set up: In order to be as efficient and user friendly as possible we use a variety of different tools to keep the social media organized and up to date. In this step we set-up all of these tools for use when we need them.

Implementation: This is where the two months of management takes place. Over that time the marketing plan that was laid out is put into action and the necessary changes are made. Another important step because it is what builds the solid footprint.

Advertising: Some firms are against this, others are for it; we are for it. In our experiences advertising is a cost effective way to get more brand awareness and drive more potential customers to the store. As a base $50 of the fee includes advertising, and more can always be added.

Adoption

Similar to the Ground Zero plan, the Adoption plan focuses on establishing a solid basis and to build off of what is currently taking place. Since the basic design is already done all that is needed is to put our tools into place and implement a plan.

Management

This plan is simply focused on what is already taking place. We simply go off of the current plan your company has implemented. Mini Social Marketing Plan: A basic plan that tells what we will be doing each month that we are hired for.

Makeover

We will redesign your social media pages that need attention. The design is generally the first thing the visitor notices, so it is important that it is appealing. The most common request is the Facebook Timeline, but we can do Tumblr, Twitter, as well as others.

Planning

In the Planning package we provide your company with a social marketing plan to be used. This plan can take place over any amount of time on any budget. We will even suggest what tools to use and what should take priority on the plan itself.

Business to Business
